Today we're excited to premiere the second track from Other Houses Iron Pier debut Fortune Selector,"Cats Know Me."

Per Morgan of Other Houses, "'Cats Know Me' is a duet about swallowing your pride and hanging with the pack when you’re the hayseed country mouse among the intimidatingly hip and urbane. It was also the culmination of the Fortune Selector sessions. Everyone really banded together on this one – we thought it was a wrap, and then our friend Taylor Belmore recorded her great vocal part at the last minute. Then we put in that descending Byrds riff you hear and it shot the whole thing through the roof. The character in this song is probably me, mixed with a couple of my friends. It’s not about literal cats – it’s the jazz lingo. This is one of my favorites I’ve ever written."
